You will never be short of things to do in and around Shanklin, you could explore the pretty thatched old villages, the Chine Valley and the beach, situated just below the hotel. There are many places to visit further a field such as the zoo at Sandown or the Roman Villa at Brading. You could take a trip to Cowes where you can find the beautiful Osborne House, which was once Queen Victoria's favourite country home. The Isle of Wight hosts Cowes sailing week once a year, making it the ideal place for sailing.
